Marine Corps Marathon Gets a Boost from EDS/HP (10 Nov 2008): EDS once again provided technical support to the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) and for the first time, sponsored the “Check Your Runner” stations with HP. EDS provided laptops and backup batteries, and full-time customer support for four days – three days of preparation as the network was installed and race day.
EDS, an HP Company, Names Doug Davis to Lead U.S. Department of Defense Business (09 Sep 2008): Herndon, VA – EDS, an HP company, today announced it has appointed Douglas “Doug” Davis vice president of EDS' U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) business. In this position, Davis will be responsible for managing EDS' U.S. Public Sector business with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Office of Secretary of Defense, Personnel & Readiness-Defense Manpower Data Center, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Defense Information Systems Agency and other defense agencies.
NMCI Customer Satisfaction Rating Achieves All-Time High (29 Jul 2008): According to those responding to the most recent survey of Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) users, overall customer satisfaction ratings reached an all-time high of 87.5 percent in the second quarter of 2008, an increase of 1.3 percent from last quarter.
NMCI Customer Satisfaction Survey Trend Continues Upward Climb (06 Mar 2008): Customer satisfaction among Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) users surveyed in December 2007 has reached its highest level in the history of the program. With an overall satisfaction rate of 85.8 percent, up 2 percent from last quarter, the latest end-user satisfaction survey results continue the upward trend with an increase for the third consecutive quarter.
Users Improve NMCI Service with Survey Input – Fourth Quarter Survey Results Reach Highest Level (14 Nov 2007): Arlington, Virginia – Customer satisfaction among Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) users has reached its highest level in the history of the program, with an overall satisfaction rate of 83.8 percent. More than two-thirds of the satisfied users rated the program in the upper range of satisfaction.
NMCI Releases Third Quarter 2007 Customer Satisfaction Results (14 Nov 2007): Arlington, Virginia – Customer satisfaction for the third quarter of fiscal year 2007 for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) increased to 81.5 percent, the highest level ever achieved through the quarterly enterprise-wide user survey.
EDS Meets DoD CLO Directive (09 Sep 2006): HERNDON, VA – EDS, in partnership with the Department of the Navy, met the July 31 deadline for 100 percent Cryptographic Log On (CLO) directive required by Department of Defense. This DoD-directed mandate for more than 500,000 users to authenticate and log on to unclassified Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) seats using Common Access Cards (CAC).
