Express Scripts Extends EDS Relationship
IT Services Agreement Allows Express Scripts to Focus on Next-Generation Initiatives
PLANO, Texas and ST. LOUIS – EDS and Express Scripts, one of America’s largest pharmacy benefit managers, today announced an agreement that extends Express Scripts’ relationship with EDS for an additional four years through 2010. The information technology (IT) infrastructure management agreement is designed to help Express Scripts focus on its next-generation initiatives by maximizing existing investments and continuing to improve its IT environment.
This agreement allows EDS to continue providing Express Scripts with computing power and information storage via mainframe hosting and storage management. EDS will also host Express Script’s midrange servers and provide database administration support.
