Course Description
By agreement with the NSA, EDS offers the NSA INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology (IEM) certificate course to qualified information security professionals who conduct, or are interested in conducting, technical security evaluations of information systems.
The two-day course teaches the NSA IEM – a standardized process developed in conjunction with the NSA for evaluating systems and networks to identify and mitigate technical vulnerabilities, and provide metrics for the organization to track security posture improvement.
Certificates are awarded to qualified students who meet the experience requirements, attend the full two-day training class, participate in class exercises, demonstrate an understanding of the methodology and pass the written test given at the end of the class. Optionally, your name can be posted on the IATRP.com website along with other professional evaluators who have achieved this distinctive certificate.
Many of the 2,800 information security professionals who have received the NSA's IAM certificate have gone on to receive the NSA IEM certificate. Visit www.iatrp.com for listing of certified IEM personnel.
