High-Tech Kiosks Help Job Seekers Secure Jobs Faster
This Government Employment Service helps people find jobs and employers fill openings. For years job vacancies were displayed on printed cards posted on bulletin boards, limiting the number of jobs that could be displayed, and requiring time and effort to keep boards current. Job seekers also found the process cumbersome and limiting.
EDS implemented a chain of networked kiosks that provide information across the country by tapping into a newly created national job board database.
