Bobby Grisham Biography

- Senior Vice President, Global Sales
Bobby Grisham is senior vice president of Global Sales for EDS, an HP company. He is responsible for driving growth and further strengthening the business group's deep sales culture. Grisham reports directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Ron Rittenmeyer.
Grisham most recently held a similar role at EDS as senior vice president and chief sales officer. As chief sales officer, Grisham was responsible for Global Sales Support, Product Marketing, Global Market Intelligence, Sales and Marketing Operations, and Third-Party Intermediary and Industry Analyst Relations. He also maintained executive sponsorship of EDS' pivotal Account Executive Leadership Program, which embedded general management accountability for account leadership, growth and service excellence throughout the enterprise.
In 2005, Grisham led the successful renegotiation of the U.S. Navy Marine Corps Intranet contract while he served as the vice president of Sales Enablement within Global Sales & Client Solutions. Previously, he was vice president of Market Place Management within EDS' Portfolio Management Group. Before that, he was president, U.S. Southwest, Operations Solutions.
Grisham was responsible for client relationships, service delivery and sales for the U.S. Southwest region of EDS' largest line of business. Before this position, he led a major company sales pursuit and was leader of EDS' Enterprise Support Services service line.
Grisham joined EDS in 1978 and progressed through several Financial Industry Group sales and management roles. In 1984, he was named division manager and given the responsibility for managing information technology (IT) operations for six General Motors Electrical Component divisions. In 1987, Grisham was charged with overseeing EDS' Delco Electronics and Government Defense division. He was then named president of the newly formed Large Financial Institutions strategic business unit (SBU) in 1988 and was responsible for ensuring its structure could serve large customers in the financial industry.
In 1996, Grisham assumed responsibility for all EDS banking and securities business, which was consolidated into a new organization – the Banking and Securities group. Then Grisham was named president of the Transportation Industry SBU in 1997. He assumed the sales leadership position as president of U.S. Information Solutions in late 1999, then as Information Solutions global sales president in 2001. For a brief period in early 2002, he was named enterprise client executive for Sabre/US Airways.
Grisham is an active member of the Tartan Board of the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas and served as Tartan Board chairman in 1998. He is a founder of the Presidents Council of Dallas Theological Seminary, serving as its chairman from 1992 to 1997. He also is a board member for the Dallas Seminary Foundation. Grisham serves on the EDS Foundation Board of Directors and is chairman of EDSPAC.
Bobby Grisham received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi in 1976 and his master of business administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978.
