Joe Eazor Biography
- Senior Vice President, Transformation
Joe Eazor is senior vice president of Transformation for EDS, an HP company. He is leading the post-merger Integration and Transformation activities for the business group. In this role, he will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Ron Rittenmeyer and will work closely with the HP executive team.
Eazor most recently served as EDS’ executive vice president of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, where he worked with the company’s leadership team to develop corporate strategy and build the company’s portfolio through mergers and acquisitions.
Previously, he was senior vice president of EDS Asia Pacific. As the leader of Asia Pacific, he was responsible for EDS’ business and operations in India, Greater China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand with more than 30,000 employees, providing services to EDS’ regional and global customers. He led the startup and operations of multiple EDS Best Shore® operations located in this region.
Before this, Eazor served as vice president and general manager of EDS Asia, as vice president and general manager of the company’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) unit, and as head of Corporate Strategy and Operations Improvement.
Eazor currently serves on the board of directors of MphasiS, a publicly listed company in India that is majority owned by EDS, an HP company, and is a member of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Global Advisory Board. Previously, he served on the boards of A.T. Kearney and ExcellerateHRO, EDS’ HR outsourcing joint venture with Towers Perrin. Additionally, he is a principal on the US-Japan Business Council and serves as the chairman of EDS China.
Eazor is a former A.T. Kearney vice president and global industry practices leader. He was a partner and co-leader of Ernst and Young’s Strategic Advisory Services Practice, served as a principal with AlixPartners LLC, and was the CEO of Springbow Solutions, a private equity-backed business-to-business software and services company.
Joe Eazor has a master of business administration degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of science degree from the Colorado School of Mines.
